<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation device which installs an underwater stirrer in a sewage treatment tank and which can be placed without discharging water in the tank to facilitate the whole installation work of the stirrer. <P>SOLUTION: An installation device 1 is provided with: first horizontal beams 4 laid on the upper face of the side walls 3A, 3B of the sewage treatment tank 3; second horizontal beams crossing with the first beams 4; supporting posts 12 extending downward from the first beams 4 and second beams; and a supporting plate 14 provided at the lower end of the posts 12. The installation device 1 is fixed to a part above the water level 13 of the tank 3.
