A serving hatch or door rests within a surrounding frame with a U-shaped profile (2) that overlaps the outer margins (3) of the surrounding wall (4). The U-shaped profile is assembled first from a first L-shaped profile (5) with a groove that is inserted into the brickwork aperture. The first L-shaped profile is complemented by a second L-shaped profile with a spring tongue and closes the profile in a tongue and groove joint (6, 8). The two parts are linked by a spring clamp (9).
