PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid tabs from being damaged or deformed by mutual interference thereof, by separating respective tabs with protection parts. SOLUTION: Four cavities 21 capable of housing a male terminal fitting 10 having tabs 11 are arranged at the terminal housing member 20. A main body part 12 and a barrel part 13 of the male terminal fitting 10 are separated by a peripheral wall 21a of the cavity 21. A retainer 30 having lances 33 is enabled to be mounted on the terminal housing member 20. The retainer 30 is made movable between a locking position where the lance 33 is locked to the male terminal fitting 10 and a releasing position where the lance is released from the male terminal fitting 10. A protection part 27 capable of individually surrounding and separating each tab 11 is arranged at a front side of the peripheral wall 21a of the cavity 21.
