PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear body structure of a vehicle having a rear body to which a trunk-through specification is applied, capable of securing the stiffness around a rear suspension tower of the vehicle rear body. SOLUTION: The rear body structure 1 of the vehicle equipped with side members 4, cross members 6, an upper back member 9, and the suspension tower 2 is furnished with a first reinforcing member 10 to couple the suspension tower 2 with the upper back member 9 and a second reinforcing member 20 to couple the suspension tower 2 with the side member 4, wherein the suspension tower 2 is set in a position identical to the upper back member 9 in the direction fore and aft of the vehicle and below the upper back member 9, and the second reinforcing member 20 and the first reinforcing member 10 are arranged continuously in the direction over the height.
