PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for burying a measuring device accurately executing primary stress measurement in a deep portion under ground. SOLUTION: The measuring device which has no cable on its outside, is fixed to a borehole so as to be integrated with a base rock by using an expansive grout. After stabilization, portions of the base rock around the measuring device are cut out concentrically, that is, an overcoring process is carried out, thereby releasing strain gauge from stresses acting thereon. Data of the process are recorded by the measuring device, and the recorded data are analyzed, thereby enabling the primary stress to be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
