PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive lithographic printing original plate for IR laser light for direct platemaking having excellent development latitude and high printing durability. SOLUTION: The lithographic printing original plate has two or more layers of positive recording layers on a support, the layers containing a water-insoluble and alkali-soluble resin and having the solubility in an alkaline aqueous solution increased by IR laser exposure. One of the layers contains an IR absorbent. The water-insoluble and alkali-soluble resin in the lowermost layer of the recording layers is a blend of two kinds of resin materials: resin having≥110°C Tg and resin having≤90°C Tg.
