PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer capable of providing high printing quality though its structure is simple. SOLUTION: Two first driven rollers A (A1, A2), two first driven rollers B (B1, B2), and a first driven roller C are fitted to a single first carrying roller 4. The first driven rollers A1, A2, B1, B2, and C are rotatably supported on the downstream side ends of holding parts 8a to 8e. The holding parts 8a to 8e are pivotally supported on a support shaft 81 at the other end in an arranged state in the main scanning direction. After these holding parts 8a to 8e and the support shaft 81 are assembled, together with a spring 9 mentioned later, as a holder 8 in the form of one part, these parts are fixed to a main frame 1 through the support shaft 81. Also, one end of the spring 9 is fixed to the intermediate parts of the holding parts 8a to 8e of the holder 8. The other end of the spring 8 is fixed to the frame 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
