PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to surely and easily estimating biological rhythm disturbance, and provide a diagnostic criterion to determine the diagnostic and therapeutic measures for the disturbance level of a patient having biological rhythm disturbance. SOLUTION: The level of biological rhythm disturbance is determined by using a temporal change in the expression quantity of a clock gene hPer2 as an index.
