PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an accurate measurement result by measuring the performance of a dummy server for measurement in place of a server in actual operation. SOLUTION: A dummy server 100 for measurement having hardware and application equivalent to the server in actual operation is provided to execute performance measurements. Not only a measurement scenario 12 to be used for performance measurements but also a pre-processing scenario 11 and a post-processing scenario 13 are prepared and inputted from a scenario inputting part 240. Before measurement is performed by a measurement performing part 220 based on the measurement scenario 12, the pre-processing based on the pre-processing scenario 11 is performed by the pre-processing performing part 210. An environment equivalent to that of the server in actual operation is set, and after the measurement, the post-processing based on the post-processing scenario 13 is performed by the post-processing performing part 230. Thus, the measurement can be performed by setting the number of used CPUs, a cache hit rate, RAID configuration, network band, and the amount of data or the like in an environment equivalent to that of the server in actual operation.
