PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a compressor from being largely scaled, and to prevent the compressor from being used in unauthorized manner by making the compressor operate only based on the operation of a key owned only by an owner or the electric input of any specific password or cipher code or the like. SOLUTION: A control circuit 17 for driving an electric motor 13, by outputting a driving command signal 16 to a driving circuit 14 is arranged with a key switch 11 serially to a signal input line such as a pressure switch to be inputted to the control circuit 17. When the key switch 11 is in an OFF status, the input of the signal to the control circuit 17 is interrupted; and when the input of the signal to the control circuit 17 is not operated, the control circuit 17 is made to stop the output of the driving instruction signal 16 to the drive circuit 14 so that the electric motor 13 is prevented from being driven.
