PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rearing poultry chickens in which the carrying-in amount and the carrying-out amount of a laying material to a chicken shed can be reduced and operation for laying the laying material on a floor surface in the chicken shed is facilitated. SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for rearing poultry chickens comprising laying a paper sheet like material onto the floor surface in the chicken shed as a laying material. Since the paper sheet like material is used as the laying material according to this method, volume, weight, or the like, of the laying material laid per unit area can be reduced.
