<p>The chair (1) can be connected to the lifting unit with a joint mechanism assembled of a hollow bar (12, 14) accommodating a spring supported securing rod (24, 28) with a threaded lower end (26) and a plug and socket unit (18, 19, 20) for the electric supply. The treaded lower end (26) is inserted into a matching area (27) located at the frame of the chair (1). The length of the threaded segment (26) prevents the adjacent plug and socket unit (18, 19, 20) from engaging before the required position for a safe connection is obtained.</p> |
