<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle measuring instrument that can reduce manufacturing costs and reduce the number of times of certification conforming to the Radio Law by using a shared automatic toll payment unit and facilitating tampering protection. <P>SOLUTION: In the on-vehicle measuring instrument 10, the automatic toll payment unit 30, which has a transmission/reception part 31 for establishing radio communication with a tollgate on a toll road and a toll payment control part 32 for calculating and paying a toll according to information from the transmission/reception part 31, is covered in a shield case that is a shield against high frequency noise and protected against easy disassembly, and is detachably attached to a meter unit 20 so as to input and output signals via a meter control part 21 and to be powered by a power source part 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
