<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a number of sheets detecting method for paper sheets for accurately detecting the number of a small number of paper sheets irrespective of the type of the paper sheets, a number of sheets detecting device, a paper feeding device, and an image forming device not consuming an extra amount of toner. <P>SOLUTION: The number of sheets detecting device for paper sheets is provided with an alternating magnetic flux generating means 37 contacting one side of a plurality of paper sheets, and an induced electromotive force detecting means 38 contacting another side, and the number of paper sheets is detected by a degree of induced electromotive force detected by the induced electromotive force detecting means 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
