PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a cost for washing by performing an operation for storing rinsing water in a warm water storing tank, so as to to be heated to proper temperature in parallel with a washing process and shortening time in whole processes. SOLUTION: A dishwasher includes: a washing tub for storing dishes; the warm water storing tank for storing washing water and rinsing water before supplying the washing water or the rinsing water to the washing tub; a heating means 7 for heating the washing water or the rinsing water in the warm water storing tank to the respectively proper temperature; and a controller 200 for performing at least the washing process and the rinsing process and controlling water supply to the warm water storing tank, warm water supply from the warm water storing tank to the washing tub, and the driving of the heating means. The controller 200 performs a rinsing water preparation process to supply the rinsing water for the rinsing process into the warm water storing tank and to heat the rinsing water to the temperature suitable for rinsing, in parallel with the washing process, and then, supplies the rinsing water in the warm water storing tank prepared in the rinsing water preparation process to the washing tub after the termination of the washing process.
