<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the volumetric efficiency and reliability of a compressor by suppressing heating through the back face of a turning scroll to the inside of a crank chamber communicating with an intake port, to suppress the temperature rise of intake gas in the crank chamber while reducing the influence of heat on the back face of the turning scroll. <P>SOLUTION: This scroll type compressor is provided with the turning scroll 12 meshed with a fixed scroll 11 to form a compression chamber 13; a driving shaft 19 for turning the turning scroll 12; a plurality of driven shafts 20 preventing the rotation of the turning scroll 12; and a crank chamber 18 formed at the back face of the turning scroll 12 to store the driving shaft 19 and driven shafts 20.
