PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component provided with collimator lenses and a dielectric multi-layer film filter and having improved bond strength between them. SOLUTION: The optical component is provided with at least a quadrangular dielectric multi-layer film filter 11 and collimator lenses 12, 12, and is constituted by bonding the quadrangular dielectric multi-layer film filter 11 to the collimator lenses 12, 12 with the use of an adhesive part 13. In the optical component, the face 12a in contact with the dielectric multi-layer film filter 11, of the collimator lens 12 is sized to be enclosed in the face 11a in contact with the collimator lens 12, of the dielectric multi-layer film filter 11, and a diagonal length B in the face 11a in contact with the collimator lens 12, of the dielectric multi-layer film filter 11 is larger than the outer diameter A of the collimator lens 12, and the adhesive part 13 is made to be almost conic gradually tapering toward the side wall 12b of the collimator lens 12 starting from the face 11a in contact with the collimator lens 12, of the dielectric multi-layer film filter 11.
