PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a connection method between a solid-state electrolytic capacitor element and an external electrode, especially, a connection method of a cathode in a manufacturing method of a solid-state electrolytic capacitor using a valve action metal. SOLUTION: A cathode part of a plurality of solid-state electrolytic capacitor elements is connected in advance by a common conductive electrode connector, and the conductive electrode connector is cut in a surface of a resin layer of each solid-state electrolytic capacitor element after coating by resin and an external cathode electrode is connected to the cut surface. According to this method, the method for connecting the cathode of the solid-state electrolytic capacitor element to the external cathode electrode is simple when compared to a conventional method, and high yield can be attained. Furthermore, the solid-state electrolytic capacitor formed by the manufacturing method has high quality and cost reduction is realized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
