PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy the drivability by suitably executing engine output limitation for overheat prevention to avoid an excessive limitation. SOLUTION: When the water temperature of an engine is not less than a predetermined temperature, a limiting value Pmax defined by output (engine torque multiplied by engine speed) is divided by engine speed Nel to calculate tentative limit torque Tlml(i), and an upper limit of target engine torque (torque command value) is limited by limit torque Tlm2(i), in which a rate of change in increasing and decreasing is treated for the limitation.
