<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator superior in workability with a simple constitution, and capable of maintaining smoothness of operation over a long period, while securing raindrop infiltration preventive function in a strong wind. <P>SOLUTION: This ventilator has a ventilating passage 5 formed in a wall part 4, and communicating the indoor side 1a with the outdoor side 1b, a moving body 6 composed of a lightweight object movably loaded in the longitudinal direction in this ventilating passage, a first end member 7 arranged on the outdoor side of the ventilating passage, and preventing falling of the moving body to the outdoor side, and a second end member 8 arranged on the indoor side of the ventilating passage, and preventing falling of the moving body to the indoor side. The respective end members form air vents 7a and 8a for allowing a flow of air between the indoor and outdoor sides. The moving body is moved to the indoor side by air, when a flow speed of the air flowing toward the indoor side in the ventilating passage, becomes a prescribed value or more, and blocks up the air vents formed in the second end member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
