PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus including a wireless access point and gateway function for permitting communication among terminals whose network access means or communication systems differ from each other. SOLUTION: In a communication system comprising: the communication apparatus including a terminal information management means for collecting and storing information of one or a plurality of terminals in a state capable of making communication in one or more domains; an inquiry terminal for inquiring of the communication apparatus about the collected terminal information; and one or plural terminals selected by the inquiry terminal among those indicated by the terminal information items received from the communication apparatus, since the inquiry terminal makes communication with the selected one or plural terminals via the communication apparatus including the terminal information management means, communication among various end point terminals can be attained and the convenience of users is improved.
