<p>PURPOSE:To attain effective utilization of an additional bit by using 2-bit in 4-bit of additional bits required in frame constitution as a parity bit of two sampling data of a luminance signal. CONSTITUTION:A luminance signal and two color difference signals are sampled by using a frequency of a ratio of 2:1:1 with 8-bit resolution respectively, one bit is added to one sampling data and 36 bits are used as the basic unit of the frame processing. Yp' Yp' are parity bits of luminance signal data Y0-Y7, Y0'-Y7'. The 4 bits are frame synchronizing bit F, an additional data bit D1 for voice or the like and the parity bits YP,YP' and all are used effectively and the production of an error after the transmission is detected by adding the parity bits. Moreover, PR0-PR7 and PB0-PB7 are color difference signal data.</p> |
