PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite particles having good volatility, a good touch to the skin, capable of being stably formed into a preparation, and containing sesquiterpene alcohols having a boiling point of≥250°C. SOLUTION: The composite particles are formed of a polyethylene resin and the sesquiterpene alcohols having the boiling point of≥250°C. A method for producing the composite particles comprises mixing the polyethylene resin and the sesquiterpene alcohols having the boiling point of≥250°C at a temperature of not lower than a softening temperature (or a melting point) of the polyethylene resin, then cooling and solidifying the obtained thermally-molten mixed liquid, by spraying it into a gas phase.
