PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protection film having sufficient UV transmittance in a UV irradiation process for producing an optical resin sheet, giving no peeling off from the optical resin sheet, peeled off with stable adhesive force after the UV irradiation and generating little odor. SOLUTION: The surface protection film for protecting the optical resin sheet is produced by forming an adhesive layer on one side of a support comprising a plastic film having 20-100μm thickness. The adhesive layer comprises an A-B-A (A expresses a styrene polymer block; B expresses a butadiene-based polymer block or its hydrogenated olefin polymer block) type block copolymer and a hindered amine-based optical stabilizer.
