PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally insulating box body capable of improving a manufacturing yield and heat insulation performance, by reducing generation of a void. SOLUTION: In this thermally insulating box body 1, a foaming resin 8 such as foaming urethane foam is filled between an outer box 13, a covering member 2 having a back face plate 4 and an inner box 3. A vacuum thermal insulating material 5 is installed on an inner surface of the back face plate 4. A plurality of ventilation grooves 6 extending in the short side direction of the back face plate 4, and having air vents 7, are juxtaposed on the back face plate 4. The ventilation grooves 6 are oppositely arranged to a ridgeline 5b of an end surface 5a of the vacuum thermal insulating material 5 in the long side direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
