The edge connector of the parent Specification, which comprises an elongated insulating body with a mounting bracket detachably secured to one of its ends, is modified in that opposite side walls 5, 6 of the connector body 1 have arrays of spaced grooves 7 into an opposed pair of which flanges 13, 14 on the bracket snap-fit. The bracket is of sheet metal and is channelshaped with retaining lugs 15, 16 on its side walls which engage shoulders 8 on the connector body 1. A mounting aperture 10 is formed in the base 9 of the bracket. Such brackets may be attached to both ends of the body, or one end of the body may have an integral apertured mounting lug. The body 1 is moulded in standard lengths which can be joined by doubleended brackets (Fig. 5, not shown) each having two opposed pairs of lugs and flanges and a single mounting aperture in its base. Alternatively, a body length can be sawn through and a mounting bracket fitted in the grooves 7 adjacent its sawn-off end.
