<p>There is provided an ink-jet recording apparatus (1) that can maintain a constant light emission intensity of a light source (14,28) with a simple structure, and allows easy replacement of the light source, while realizing miniaturization and reduction in weight of the apparatus. The ink-jet recording apparatus includes a recording head (7,22) to jet photocurable ink onto a recording medium, wherein the photocurable ink is cured by being exposed to light; and a light emitting device (12,25) having a light source to emit light to cure the photocurable ink, the light source including a light emitting tube and metal caps (16,30) provided at both ends of the light emitting tube, wherein the light emitting tube has a bent section (50,60). <IMAGE></p> |
