<p>The saw has an assembly with a blade (19) driven by a motor and connected to a base (11). A motor (20) is attached to an upper blade guard, which is connected to a pivot arm (17A). A fence assembly attached to the base has fixed (21), movable (22), and auxiliary fences. The auxiliary fence is placed behind one of the fences (21,22). The movable and auxiliary fences define supporting planes, which are parallel to each other. An independent claim is also included for method for cutting a workpiece.</p> |
