A safety working apparatus of a grinder for a table is provided to prevent abrasive grain from being dispersed by keeping a gap between a grindstone and a cover, and to restrict accidents by adjusting a gap between the grindstone and a work piece according to wear of the grindstone. A safety working apparatus of a grinder is composed of an auxiliary cover(30) hinge-combined with an upper opening part of a safety cover to adjust a gap of a grindstone according to wear of the grindstone, and a first adjusting unit(32) combined with the auxiliary cover and the safety cover to place the auxiliary cover by turning. The first adjusting unit comprises a first screw rod(34) thread-connected to an upper part of the auxiliary cover and pivotally combined with the safety cover, a second screw rod(36) fixed to the safety cover between a turning hinge point of the auxiliary cover and the first screw rod and combined with the auxiliary cover, a first elongated hole(38) formed in the auxiliary cover to guide the second screw rod by turning the auxiliary cover, and an adjusting nut(40) thread-connected to the second screw rod to restrict the auxiliary cover. |
