A BURIED TYPE ENVIRONMENTAL RADIATION MONITORING SYSTEM WITH THE FUNCTION OF FORECAST THE EARTHQUAKE

A buried type environmental radiation monitoring system is provided to forecast the earthquake by measuring information about the earthquake using measurement units and transmitting the information to users in real time. A buried type environmental radiation monitoring system includes a measurement unit having a measurement function for measuring density of radon. The measurement unit is installed in a chamber having a diameter of about 5 to 50cm and a length of about 10 to 200cm. The chamber is buried in the ground in such a manner that an upper end of the chamber is spaced from the ground by 1mm to 100cm. Ten thousand measurement units are connected to one to hundred servers by using a TCP/IP communication network(71). Users receive measurement results through personal computers in real time.
