<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advertisement information provision system or the like allowing efficient selection, distribution, display or the like when downloading objective information. <P>SOLUTION: In this advertisement information provision system, an information provision server calculates 'a downloading time of the objective information' on the basis of 'a communication speed to a client' and 'a file size of the objective information' required by the client, calculates 'a down loading time of the advertisement information' and 'a downloading time of the whole' on the basis of the downloading time of the objective information, and selects the advertisement information of a display time (a reproduction time or the like), the file size fit for the communication speed to the client, and the downloading time of the advertisement information. The client downloads the objective information, and downloads and displays the advertisement information.
