COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, INFORMATION STORAGE MEDIUM, AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and improved communication system which can realize a high speed communication between an IC card of contact type of a communication system and a communication apparatus which performs a communication between IC cards.

SOLUTION: The communication system includes the IC card 100 of the contact type of the communication system and the communication apparatus 200 for performing the communication between the IC cards. A first electrode 110 for forming an electrostatic capacity coupler used as a channel with the communication apparatus is formed on the front surface of the IC card. In the communication apparatus, a second electrode 220 for forming the electrostatic capacity coupler 270 integral with the first electrode is formed in a communication part 210 closely adhesive with the IC card, and a modulation system is adopted for assigning a carrier or a clock frequency to a substantially center of a band which can communicate in the electrostatic capacity coupler.
