<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card processing device and method that enable a ticket issuing process to be carried out using an integral structure and ticket information stored on the IC chip of a noncontact card, at a window of a facility such as a theater or a concert hall. <P>SOLUTION: The card processing device having a communication means for reading or writing data on the IC chip of the noncontact card is provided with a storage means for storing the read data on the IC chip; a reading means for reading ticket information according to the data read; a display means for displaying the ticket information read; a selection means for selecting one piece of the ticket information displayed in the display means; and a ticket printing and issuing means for printing and issuing a ticket based on the piece of ticket information selected by the selection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
