<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric wire excess length absorbing mechanism by which the slack of an electric wire can be constantly absorbed. <P>SOLUTION: The window glass 1 is, for example, a rear window glass to which a heater wire 2 is pasted, and vertically movable between the solid line and the alternate long and short dash line. The heater wire 2 is connected to a power supply 6 on the vehicle body 5 side via a connector 3 fixed to the window glass 1, and further, the electric wire 4 connected to the connector 3. One end of a tension spring 7 is fixed to the intermediate part of the electric wire 4. The base end 7a of the tension spring 7 is fixed to the vehicle body 5.
