PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a proper image blurring correction operation in a moving image photographing and in a still image photographing, respectively. SOLUTION: The image blurring correction apparatus, which is mounted on the lens apparatus 1 to be attached to a camera capable of performing the moving image photographing and the still image photographing, comprises: a compensation means 3 for performing operation for compensating image blurring; and a control means which controls the compensation means based on an oscillation signal generated according to the oscillation of the camera or the lens apparatus and switches operation/not-operation of the compensation means according to whether the frequency of the blurring signal is within a prescribed frequency area. The control means discriminates whether photographing by the camera is moving image photographing or still image photographing, and changes the prescribed frequency area between in moving image photographing or in still image photographing.
