PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CPU rewrite mode setting system which allows the mode of a CPU to be switched to a memory rewritable/unrewritable mode without replacing jumper pins of a mode switching circuit of CPU vicinity. SOLUTION: A CPU substrate is provided with; a switch circuit which outputs an L-level signal in response to a depressed state of a switch 1a and outputs an H-level signal in response to a non-depressed state of the switch 1a; a reset IC 2 which outputs an L-level signal after power-on and and outputs an H-level signal a prescribed time after the L-level signal output; a switching means (analog switch 6) which switches a voltage level applied to a mode setting terminal 7 provided in a CPU 3 and is wired to the mode setting terminal 7; and a control circuit (D latch circuit 5) which uses the output signal of the switch circuit and the output signal of the reset IC 2 to control switching of the switching means.
