<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information terminal in which power can be saved by preventing LED lighting in repetitive opening/closing while an LED turning on/off control function is provided. <P>SOLUTION: When a state detection means 231 detects an open state, it is determined whether the number of counting times of a counting means 233 reaches the prescribed number of times or not. When the number of the counting times of the counting means 233 does not reach the prescribed number of counting times, a light emitting substance is lighted. When the number of counting times of the counting means 233 reaches the prescribed number of counting times, it is determined whether a first clocking means 234 clocks first prescribed time or not.
