<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adjusted value for making a liquid reach a medium with a high degree of accuracy, even from an adjusting pattern which is formed on the deformed medium. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejection device is equipped with a moving body for moving a liquid ejection part for the ejection of the liquid in a moving direction, and a plurality of supporting parts which are arranged in different positions in the moving direction. In the liquid ejection device, the liquid is ejected from the liquid ejection part onto the medium which is supported by the supporting parts, so that a plurality of patterns for adjusting liquid ejection timing can be formed. The plurality of patterns, which are formed along the moving direction, constitute a pattern group for coarse adjustment, and the plurality of patterns, which are formed along in a direction crossing the moving direction, constitute a pattern group for fine adjustment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
