<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail coping connecting device easy in connecting work, and having an elegant appearance of a connecting place, by providing sufficient connecting yield strength, while allowing the extension and contraction by a temperature change in a handrail coping. <P>SOLUTION: This handrail coping connecting device has a first connecting member 2 having a superior arc outside surface along an inner diameter of the inserting tubular coping 1, projecting a projection strip 8 having an axial directional screw hole 7 on the upper inside of a peripheral plate part 6 continuing with the opening both lower edges 5, and having opposed innermost narrow both inclined faces 9 inside both lower edges, a second connecting member 3 having both wedge-shaped side surfaces 10 fitted to both inclined faces 9, bored with an axial directional through-hole 11, and arranged in a space surrounded by both inclined faces and a tubular coping inner surface, and a headed screw 4 threadably attached to the axial directional screw hole of the first connecting member via the axial directional through-hole, and expansively opening the peripheral plate part of the first connecting member by fastening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
