<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a person to go up and down stairs with a halved rise as if the person goes up and down ordinary stairs. <P>SOLUTION: The stairs, so to speak, are cut longitudinally. The cut stairs are shifted frontward by half a length of a tread 1 and shifted downward by half a rise 2 in the longitudinal direction, in front view. When the stairs are shifted rearward by half the length of the tread, the stairs are shifted upward by half the rise 2. In this case, one more stair is formed to the far side.
