PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate realizing correspondence to the miniaturizing and thinning of a device, etc., by making a loading operation and a chucking operation to be performed with the same driving source in a disk driving device which performs the loading operation for transferring a disk in its radial direction and the chucking operation for transferring it in a roughly thickness direction of the disk with respect to the disk being a disk-shaped storage medium. SOLUTION: A disk driving device is constituted by being equipped with roller arm parts 10, 20 which rock in parallel with the radial direction of the disk, a chucking arm part 30 which rocks in the roughly thickness direction of the disk and a cam 40. Moreover, a cam groove for regulating rocking operations of the roller arm parts 10, 20 in order to position the disk which is to be transferred in the radial direction at a prescribed position and a cam groove for regulating the rocking operation of the chucking arm part 30 in order to transfer the disk being at the prescribed position to the roughly thickness direction of the disk are provided in the cam 40.
