PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To popularize a small system by miniaturizing an atmospheric heat exchanger necessary for an absorption heat pump system. SOLUTION: In a cooling operation, when a high atmospheric temperature causes insufficient cooling of circulating water for atmospheric heat exchange to be cooled in the atmosphere/liquid heat exchanger 20 of an absorption cooling/heating device 2, a compression heat exchanger 40 of a compression cooling/heating device 3 works as an evaporator to cool the circulating water for atmospheric heat exchange by heat of vaporization. In a heating operation, when a low atmospheric temperature causes insufficient heating of the circulating water for atmospheric heat exchange to be heated in the atmosphere/liquid heat exchanger 20 of the absorption cooling/heating device 2, the compression heat exchanger 40 of the compression cooling/heating device 3 works as a condenser to heat the circulating water for atmospheric heat exchange by heat of condensation.
