The invention relates to a culinary preparation household appliance comprising a housing (1') provided with a vertical member which is adjacent to a base, a working receptacle (102') which is detachably mounted on the base, a lid (103') closing the working receptacle (102'), a maintaining part (110') mounted on the vertical member and used to retain the lid (103'), and a moveable security part (197) actuating a switch (185'a). According to the invention, the working receptacle (102') comprises a detection part (124') which is moveable and/or deformable and which can cooperate with the lid (103') and the moveable security part (197). The detection part (124') cooperates with the lid (103') which is retained on the working receptacle (102') by the maintaining part (110') in a locked position and which pushes the moveable security part (197) towards a position wherein the switch (185'a) enables the motor to operate.
