<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the impact load on an instrument panel member 9, and to reliably suppress movement of a pedal part 16 of a brake pedal 15 backward of an automobile body even when a guide member 53 is miniaturized in a pedal supporting structure of an automobile to change the posture of a pedal bracket 17 so as to suppress backward movement of the pedal part 16 of the brake pedal 15 supported by the pedal bracket 17 fixed to a dash panel 1. <P>SOLUTION: The guide member 53 having a guide surface 57 inclined to be lower backward of an automobile body is fixed to the instrument panel member 9. A pedal shaft 41 which is successively abutted on a guide surface 57 of the guide member 53 and slides on the guide surface 57 as the pedal bracket 17 is moved, and an abutting pin 42 are provided on the pedal bracket 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
