PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax a stress generated at the lower end section of a tank side-wall at a low cost when a PC tank having a constitution in which a foundation slab and the side wall are connected integrally is built on a firm bearing ground. SOLUTION: A flexible layer 20 holding a flexibility is installed on the bearing ground 12 even under the state in which the weight of the PC tank 10 is received. The foundation slab 14 for the PC tank 10 is built on the flexible layer 20. The flexible layer 20 is constituted by spreading a large number of bags filled with soil and sand all over in one working form. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
