SEPARATION DEVICE FOR PYROLYSIS RESIDUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for separating pyrolysis residue generated at the time when waste such as a waste tyre is dry-distilled.

SOLUTION: The device for separating metal and carbide included in pyrolysis residue generated at the time when waste is dry-distilled comprises: a chute 1 introducing the pyrolysis residue 3 into a water tank 2 while shielding the pyrolysis residue 3 from the open air; a paddle 6 provided below the water face within the chute 1 and rotating to generate a water flow: a metal recovery apparatus 9 recovering the metal precipitated at the bottom part of the water tank; and a carbide recovery apparatus 7 recovering the carbide floating on the water face of the water tank.
