<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality in which a signal of result of partial charge treatment in a series of treatments is not received/given between the partial charge treatment functions in a predetermined order in a vehicle control system, in which the result of partial charge treatment of the series of treatments repeatedly carried out for controlling the vehicle is received/given as a signal in a predetermined order and each of the partial charge treatment function carries out the partial charge treatment based on an output signal of the partial charge treatment at the former stage of receiving/giving. <P>SOLUTION: Each partial charge treatment function gives a check code to the partial charge treatment function at the latter stage after a predetermined value is added to the check code received from the partial charge treatment function at the former stage.
