PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small disk unit which is not bulky heightwise, is easily assembled and which has sealing structure having high sealing property. SOLUTION: A base plate 32 houses functional members 10 such as a disk 11 and a head, and in places (flat parts of level difference parts) to which a top cover 33 is screwed of the base plate 32, burring parts 321 are formed toward a direction of the top cover 33 and female screws are cut in the inner walls of the burring parts. Burring parts 331 are also formed upward in the flat parts of recessed parts of three corners formed by press working of the top cover 33 and the burring parts 331 have diameters larger than those of the burring parts 321 of the base plate 32, top cover screws 35 are screwed to the burring parts 321 in the sate that the burring parts 321 of the base plate 32 are fitted into the burring parts 331 of the top cover 33. After the top cover 33 is attached to the base plate 32, a cover seal 36 which covers top faces of the top cover 33, the base plate 32 and top cover screws 35 is stuck.
