PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand type imaging device by which a subject larger than a standard size is imaged by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A stand type scanner 100 includes a placing table 1 and a camera 3. The camera 3 is turnably supported by a pipe-like support arm 4 erected on the end of the placing table 1. A movable plating table 7 is connected to the side of the placing table 1 with hinges 10 so that the table 7 is freely openable. In such a scanner 100, to image the subject of a large size, the movable placing table 7 is opened to conduct imaging in a standard position, and then the camera 3 is turned through 180°to repeat imaging.
