An implantable medicament delivery device (10) includes a core body (12), which further includes a single basin (14) or multiple smaller basins (1043, 1045, 1047) for containing a drug or a medicament. Each basin (14) is covered by a screen (26). The implantable drug delivery device (10) is placed within the body of an animal, and the drug is allowed to diffuse through the holes (25) in the screen (26) to provide treatment of a disease or condition.
